The Holzbautag Biel is the most important conference of the timber industry in Switzerland. This year it will take place on May 5, 2022 on the topic of "Continuing to build with wood: urban, high, dense". The Bern University of Applied Sciences organizes the international bridge conference together with Empa. In his key note speech, Stefan Zöllig will talk about the opportunities and possibilities of decarbonizing the public sector thanks to the use of wood. Lukas Rüegsegger will present the WTK Rynetel in detail and Andreas Burgherr will introduce the bridge Tüfisteg made of Swiss beech wood. TS3 is present at the event as a sponsor and exhibitor.
