Egg, Canton of Zurich - Single-family home roof with skylight
The floor-to-ceiling windows lend character to this architecturally sophisticated building and flood the interior with light. The skylight brings natural light onto the spiral staircase, setting the scene.
The project
The interior and exterior spaces merge. The floor-to-ceiling glazing enhances this fusion with its delicate frames and brings natural light deep into the interior, aided by the skylight positioned centrally above the staircase.
The Construction Method
A sleek roof membrane, constructed using TS3-PTS elements and connected using TS3 technology.
The Challenges
A lightweight roof membrane and a circular skylight. The TS3-PTS elements were manufactured to precise dimensions according to the architectural plans and delivered just-in-time from the factory to the construction site.
