Swissbau 2024, one of the most important trade fairs for the construction and real estate industry in Switzerland, once again impressed visitors this year with groundbreaking innovations and inspiring events. TS3 was at the center of the action, attracting attention with several highlights and finally shining in the spotlight of the Schweiz Aktuell program on SRF.

The BMW15 apartment building in Thun is an innovative showcase project: it stands on the first wooden basement in Switzerland, has no heating and was built entirely without concrete using TS3 technology. The doors of the apartment building will be open for viewing on Saturday, March 9, April 20 and July 6, 2024.

The new building "Kijuzu am Wald" expands the range of childcare services in the municipality of Zuchwil. The innovative TS3 technology made the originally planned beams superfluous, while the generous use of wood provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. The new apartment building in Buchs AG combines the advantages of timber construction and solid construction. The wooden floor slabs, which are only 39 centimeters thick, rest on filigree supports - beams are not necessary. Thus, the large rooms and window fronts are not impaired by disturbing cross beams. This is possible thanks to TS3 technology.

TS3 will participate in the 16th Holzbautag Biel on May 11, 2023. The symposium, which is organized by the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH, is aimed at professionals from the fields of architecture and timber construction and will focus on the topic of "Continuing to build with wood: resource-conserving, material-appropriate, recyclable". Last week, employees of the Office for Land and Buildings (AGG) and the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of Bern visited the Competence and Innovation Center Wood Biel. The focus was on TS3's feasibility study on the topic of heavy-duty bridges made of wood.
